STEP 2
Job Questionnaire
To help us learn about you, you're going to film a short < 2-minute video of yourself answering 3 questions.
- Why do you want to intern at Tread?
- Why will you be a great contributor at Tread?
- Explain any previous projects or experiences you've had that make you a great candidate for the position.
Proceed to step 3.
STEP 3
Practical
Learning will be a big part of your Tread internship, but we also expect you to contribute with our athletes. With that in mind, it's time to show us what you've got as a coach.
Your practical assignment is to do a breakdown of Connor's pitching delivery (Connor is a current Tread Athlete).
The video you submit should meet the following criteria:
- You will use these videos to complete your breakdown.
- Your submitted video is no longer than 6 minutes.
- The submitted video will contain Connor's video and includes–at a minimum–you doing a voiceover.
- Within the breakdown, you identified the 1-3 most pressing issues in Connor's delivery.
- For each issue you've identified, you’ve given 1-2 specific drills, adjustments, or cues you would give Connor to help fix those.
- Please complete this breakdown as if you are talking to Connor, not to the hiring team at Tread.
In addition, if it will enhance your breakdown, you can take a look at Connor's full mobility assessment here.
Good breakdowns will combine technical knowledge with the intangible “feel” that makes coaches great. Have fun!
Once you're done with the breakdown, hold onto the video and proceed to Step 4.
STEP 4
Submission
You will submit your application through this Google Form.
Take the video files you created earlier and upload them to YouTube as an unlisted video. You will then upload the links to the appropriate question in the Google Form listed above!
And don't forget to click ‘Submit'!
