Our Performance Coaches occupy a unique space in the player development world, training thousands of baseball players from High Schoolers to Perennial MLB Allstars remotely, in addition to hundreds on-site in our state-of-the-art, 33,000 square foot Headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina.
As a Performance Coach, you will operate within our hybrid model – where you will be able to provide guidance for your assigned athletes year-round, as opposed to in brief spurts throughout the Off-Season.
Your coaching duties will involve both remote and in-house work with your assigned athlete workload. No more 12+ hour days on the training floor or field and 11:00 PM closing times.
This year-round, hybrid format provides the continuity that players require to navigate the minefield that is High School, College and Professional baseball and the freedoms coaches require to dig deeper on problems to create sustained, transcendent results.
Most player development coaches are limited to focusing on one niche: such as Strength & Conditioning or Mechanical Analysis or Sports Psychology.

We’re a fast-growing baseball development company looking for a creative Content Specialist who is knowledgeable about baseball and pitching development to elevate our content.

About The Role
Tread exists at the forefront of the baseball development world, training thousands of baseball players from High School to MLB All-Stars. These players flock from around the globe to Charlotte, North Carolina each year to train at Tread HQ: our state-of-the-art, 33,000 square-foot Headquarters.
As our Facilities Manager, you will oversee all aspects of building functions to ensure the safety and functionality of all facilities. Duties include coordinating with contractors, planning maintenance work, running routine inspections, maintaining records and supervising any maintenance/facilities staff. While you will largely be coordinating tasks, there are times when you may need to get your hands dirty to ensure the job gets done.
Our ideal candidate is well-versed in facilities management processes, has a high degree of organizational proficiency and is able to optimize the use of the space and equipment while reducing operating costs.

About the Role
You’ll serve as an assistant for Coan McAlpine, our CEO.
In practice, an Executive Assistant will function as both a filter and line of defense to improve Coan's efficiency, organization and effectiveness in this role.
In a given week, he juggles dozens (if not hundreds) of calls, emails, appointments and more.
Your responsibility will be to protect and streamline his time to allow him to focus on Tread's growth objectives.
We need a disciplined & organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is able to bring order to the chaos of a growing company.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as intermediary between communications to and from Coan.
- Manage Coan’s work and personal schedules.
- Provide a thoughtful sounding board when appropriate.
- Create and maintain a standard operating cadence with Coan.
- Facilitate the administration of the Front Office & check-offs with other members of the Staff, as needed.
- Assist Coan in the balancing act of building a company & his own needs.
- Establish yourself as his trusted confidant.

Tasks include…
- Fielding on-script and off-script inquiries (phone calls, emails, etc.).
- Scheduling meetings and appointments.
- Keeping accurate records of communications (texts, emails, notes, etc.).
- Organizing Coan’s daily tasks.
- Managing a network of industry contacts.
- Making coffee & snack runs.
- Running personal errands.
- Identifying & handling a supporting cast of personal vendors.
- Coordinating travel accommodations (hotels, rental car, pet care, etc).
- Assisting with planning company events, re-stocking front office supplies & other miscellaneous tasks, as needed.

About the Role
You'll serve as a Marketing Specialist for Tread at our headquarters in Charlotte, NC. This role is broadly responsible for spreading and strengthening our culture internally & brand awareness externally.
As the primary individual responsible for Marketing, you will be given the freedom to take projects from start to finish.
Such projects will include managing apparel for employees & athletes, managing product partners/affiliates, assisting with event planning and coordination, and leading out special projects to further our Marketing goals.
As this is a new department at Tread, its direction will rely on you to be self-motivated and willing to take the ball and run with it.
We need a disciplined & organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is able to bring order to the chaos of a growing company.
As you prove that we can count on you, your role will build along a 5-tier growth plan which we will discuss on your interview.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Apparel – managing gear and apparel lines for athletes & employees. This includes placing orders, finding vendors, managing inventory, etc.
- Event planning – contributing to key event planning (Winter & Summer pro day, employee & athlete events, etc.)
- Culture building – assisting with special projects to enhance employee and athlete experience
- Social media / promotional material – assist content team with occasional promotional materials, announcements and graphics to support marketing goals.
- Partnerships – managing existing affiliate product relationships, identifying potential partnerships & assisting with product reviews.
- Special projects – identify and lead out marketing initiatives to enhance the experience and brand identity of followers, athletes and employees of Tread.
