Thanks for checking out Tread!
Whether you coach at the high school, college or pro level, our goal is to make you more effective at developing your players and winning games.
In other words, we want to be your #1 resource for pitching content online.
I've included a number of resources and videos down below to get you started. But first, a little bit more about us.
–
Our Mission
Tread emerged in 2015 as I observed several huge needs in the player development world:Â
- Few high school players have access to world-class coaching in their local areas.
- College players may receive solid instruction across several pillars, but rarely do underfunded staffs have the time/resources to fully address all aspects of development (team nutritionist, data analytics team, biomechanist, full body movement screens, individual mobility protocols, etc.).
- Pro Players have more resources at their fingertips, but are away from their orgs (largely unsupervised) for half of the year, during which the most important development should be happening.

A Collaborative Relationship
If not, ask yourself what impact it would have on your organization or team if you could nail down just 1 or 2 more of these pillars for specific guys on your staff, how good they could be.
Access to in depth data analysis
We have a data analytics department powering every coach and athlete at Tread, providing pitch grading models, custom reporting and more.
An outside perspective on biomechanical efficiency
We evaluate 55+ mechanical variables in our remote screen, and athletes that come in-house get weekly motion captures and consultation with our biomechanics team.
A full body movement screen
We look at tissue quality, joint function, mobility, stability and injury history from head to toe. Then we construct a plan to tackle red flags.
An individualized corrective routine
We create an easy-to-follow routine for each player to improve any movement deficiencies.
A custom S&C plan
Your players may already be getting this, but we can often fill in the gaps or connect the dots with our movement screening process.
Regularly updated throwing prescription
A throwing plan that adapts monthly, including drill work, pitch design, velo & command work over the course of a calendar year.
Mental training & consultation
All athletes gain access to our mental training course to learn more about establishing routines, flushing bad performance & playing one pitch at a time.
Nutrition plan & guidelines
Gaining muscle or losing body fat doesn't have to be complicated. We simplify the process so that even a 15 year old can follow and stick to it. This leads to some absurd transformations.
